Prakash Jayaraman brings with him over 25 years of Computer Engineering expertise to his role in Netcon. He has hands-on experience building simple to complex networking products for enterprises and carriers from inception to obsolescence. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India. Later, he went on to pursue Master of Science and earned a degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. After completing M.S, he held various product development and technology positions with Network Equipment Technologies and Sonus Networks where he contributed in building Broadband Remote Access, Switches, Secure Transport Gateways, UC-enabled VOIP Gateways, SD-WAN Edge Gateways and SDN Carrier Backbone Switches.
Prakash has also worked closely with interfacing networking products with various UC and Conferencing solutions, such as Microsoft Lync, Skype for Business and Teams, BroadSoft/Cisco. Currently, Prakash is focused on a new venture developing Enterprise Networking products with focus on SDN and 5G. Apart from Networking and UC, he has developed Healthcare software based on the existing products, such as Oscar (Canada) and VistA (USA Veteran’s Affairs). He is keen on learning new industry trends and loves to explore further in the field of Enterprise Networking. He believes that success knows no bounds and extends his diverse experience and expert knowledge to enrich Netcon’s advisory board.
